I'm back!

What a year my friends! I had every intention of using this space to share with all of you my life, garden and love of all things old and traditional. However I then decided to live life in the moment and put my phone away. 

The result? No blog posts... 

So let me give you a brief recap. I found out that we were expecting our 3rd baby (after an 11 year gap) in November 2023. We were so excited! Baby was due 7/30/24

My pregnancy was full of ups and downs. I spent a few trips in the ER with scary amounts of bleeding. I was told we had a vanishing twin pregnancy. Then I was diagnosed with geataional diabetes, enjoyed being told I was geriatric (at the ripe old age of 35), and ultrasounds... So many ultrasounds.

After a little long 7 1/2 months our beautiful Felicity decided to make her debut early and we spent 11 days in the NICU in Madison. I thank God that she was home so soon, even though it felt like an eternity in the midst of our stay. 

She is an amazing addition to our family and she is so healthy and happy! 

I spent my maternity leave snuggling with baby Cece and reconnecting with Viv and Ellie. We finished the last of last year's school work and spent time enjoying the outdoors with friends. I did some gardening and a fair bit of canning, but it's been less than recent years. 

It's been a beautiful year. We are blessed beyond measure!
